REQUESTING REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS

Registered portal users will have access to a list of their long-term medications. To request any of these, select from this list.  For requests for other or additional medications – please use the “notes” section of the repeat Prescription tab and list each medication here.

Standard requests for repeat Prescriptions take 2 working days to process.

If you have an Urgent request for a Repeat Prescription this needs to be made over the phone to our reception team BEFORE 1:00pm on the day of request.  Urgent Requests incur an additional fee. See our website for full list of charges

Requests for urgent prescriptions made after 1:00pm will be processed on the next business day. In this situation if patients cannot wait they should go to the Afterhours clinic or make an online appointment booking with Practice Plus for a consult. Another option is to ask their Pharmacy to issue an emergency 3 day supply.

YOUR HEALTH INFORMATION

The healthcare information available to you via MyIndici Patient Portal is:

  1. Conditions listed as long-term
  2. Allergies to medicines
  3. Immunisations you have been given
  4. Recalls – these are reminders we have set up to make sure you do not miss out on important screening and blood tests etc
  5. A list of medications we have prescribed for you
  6. Your VITAL information which has been recorded in our patient management system, this may include blood pressure, BMI, height and weight etc.

Please let us know if anything is missing or incorrect on your information

LAB and TEST RESULTS

  • Results from tests that your GP, NP or nurse has arranged for you can be viewed on the portal once the Clinician has signed them off. This will be the primary method of communicating results for patients who are registered on the portal.
  • Please allow several days for these results to be loaded (certain results e.g., biopsies may take up to 10 days).
  •  Your GP may choose not to load certain more sensitive results onto your portal without talking to you first.
  • If the results have been labelled by your GP/NP as “normal” then this means your GP/NP is happy with the result (even if the results have been labelled abnormal by the lab). If you wish to discuss your results in more detail, a standard appointment is required.
  • Results that are ordered by the hospital or specialists will not necessarily come to your portal. Please contact your specialist team for these results. The specialist ordering the test is responsible for follow up and management of those results.
